About The Position

Buell Fuel is hiring a full-time CDL B driver with Tank and HazMat endorsements to deliver gasoline, diesel, and propane products to designated locations throughout the region. The role involves safely transporting fuel, following applicable safety and compliance requirements, completing vehicle inspections and documentation, and communicating with dispatchers, mechanics, and customers. The position is based in Albany, New York, offers daily home time, and includes 40 hours per week with overtime available. Pay is $29.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Valid CDL B license with Tank and HazMat endorsements.
At least 1 year of CDL driving experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a DOT-certified physical exam every two years.
Willingness to obtain a TWIC card.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
Must pass pre-employment drug testing and participate in random testing while employed.

Responsibilities

Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver fuel and propane products to designated locations.
Follow all DOT, HazMat, and company safety standards.
Conduct accurate pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Complete required daily and monthly documentation in compliance with company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, mechanics, and customers.
Maintain an environmentally compliant, clean, and safe work area.
Represent Buell Fuel professionally and with a positive attitude.
