About The Position

Mercer Landmark is looking to add a full-time CDL Truck Driver for 2nd shift at our MPS location in St Henry. There is a $2.00-3.00 shift premium offered for this job. The truck driver will perform a variety of routine transportation work in delivering bulk feed to the farms our company works with.

Requirements

Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL
Ability to safely drive various vehicles
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and customers
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform manual tasks under varying weather conditions
Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Performing a variety of duties such as hauling, unloading feeds, etc.
Insure most economical use of time and equipment.
Performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment
Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
Serve patron in a manner that promotes our company, promotes customer service and delivers our patrons the services they need to succeed with their operations
