About The Position

The CDL Driver operates commercial vehicles to transport company products and materials to designated locations across California. The role is responsible for safe, timely deliveries, efficient route planning, compliance with federal and state regulations, and reliable communication with office coordinators, warehouse personnel, and customers. The driver also conducts regular vehicle inspections, maintains accurate driving and delivery records, and assists with loading and offloading products and materials. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Requirements

• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL.
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Ability to use maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish ability is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS navigation systems.
• Familiarity with freight handling and properly securing cargo.
• Customer service experience interacting with clients and warehouse staff.
• Additional CDL endorsements such as Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples.
• Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes while complying with traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
• Communicate proactively with office coordinators, warehouse personnel, and customers about delivery status and issues encountered during transit.
• Transport company products, including tortillas, and materials, including cardboard displays, to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assist with loading and offloading products and materials.
• Report accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
