About The Position
Golden Oaks Veterinary Hospital is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The hospital welcomes experienced veterinarians seeking a long-term position as well as veterinarians looking to continue developing their clinical skills. It offers a supportive, collaborative environment focused on high-quality medicine, clear communication, and work-life balance. The role offers a flexible schedule aligned with the veterinarian’s availability. The hospital is currently seeking coverage on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with Tuesday as the primary surgical day. The veterinarian will have opportunities to practice medicine, surgery, and dentistry while treating a diverse caseload that includes small animals and exotics. There are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities. The updated hospital is equipped with digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound, and is supported by skilled RVTs and other support staff. The team values mentorship, teamwork, and a positive, community-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide veterinary care to a diverse caseload that includes small animals and exotics.
- Practice medicine, surgery, and dentistry in a supportive clinical environment.
- Provide coverage on the agreed schedule; the current need is Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with Tuesday as the primary surgical day.
