About The Position

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is hiring a CDL Driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle on allocated routes that include roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys. The driver performs pre- and post-operation vehicle checks, operates vehicle controls and joystick equipment in accordance with safety procedures, monitors vehicle readiness, completes paperwork and reports, and helps ensure timely, professional service. The role requires following and enforcing safety regulations and meeting departmental productivity standards. Garbage or recycling experience is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid CDL Class A or B.
Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
Must meet all qualifications defined under Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Complete pre- and post-operation checks of the commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components.
Safely operate commercial vehicles on allocated routes, including roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.
Operate manual and/or automatic controls and joystick equipment in compliance with FCC safety regulations and procedures.
Communicate courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to support timely and professional service.
Monitor vehicle status to maintain operational readiness and reduce downtime.
Complete required paperwork and reports accurately.
Meet departmental productivity standards so clients are serviced in a timely and effective manner.
Follow and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.
