About The Position

Lignetics, Inc. is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Truck Driver based out of its Rocklin, California location. The driver will operate double flat beds and double live floor trailers, using both automatic and manual transmissions. The position has Monday–Friday early starts, with the driver home nightly; overtime may be needed. Compensation is $26–$28 per hour. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required. The driver completes required daily paperwork, including freight bills, load sheets, electronic logbooks, fuel purchase records, mileage records, and other records needed to comply with state and federal regulations. Loading and unloading full trailers is required when requested by the customer. Other duties may be assigned. Lignetics Group makes consumer products including home-heating wood pellets, BBQ pellets, animal bedding, and wood-fiber cat litter. The company describes its products as recycled, renewable, sustainable, and carbon neutral, and says it turns recycled sawdust into branded consumer products.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements.
Have at least 1 year of previous tractor-trailer driving experience.
Be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to understand and communicate job-related information, instructions, regulations, signs, maps, MSDS guidelines, paperwork, and memos.
Know DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
Meet or exceed U.S. Department of Transportation medical standards and hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
Be able to reach for freight frequently at waist level and occasionally above shoulder height or below waist level.
Be able to reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level to maneuver and operate truck controls.
Be able to load and unload full trailers of freight.
Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Operate double flat beds and double live floor trailers with automatic and manual transmissions.
Complete daily freight bills, load sheets, electronic logbooks, fuel purchase records, mileage records, and other compliance records.
Load and unload full trailers of freight as requested by customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
