About The Position
Lignetics, Inc. is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Truck Driver based in Rocklin, California. The driver operates double flatbeds and double live-floor trailers with both automatic and manual transmissions. The schedule is Monday through Friday with early starts, and drivers are home nightly. Overtime may be needed. The role includes completing required transportation and compliance paperwork, including freight bills, load sheets, electronic logbooks, fuel purchase and mileage records, and other records required by state and federal regulations. Drivers may also load and unload full trailers when requested by customers, and perform other duties as assigned. Employment is contingent on a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements.
- At least 1 year of previous tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand and communicate job-related information, instructions, regulations, signs, maps, MSDS guidelines, paperwork, and memos.
- Knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations covering safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
- Meet or exceed U.S. Department of Transportation medical standards and hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to frequently reach for freight at waist level and occasionally reach above shoulder height or below waist level.
- Ability to reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level to maneuver and direct truck controls.
- Ability to load and unload full trailers of freight.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
