About The Position

This refrigerated-fleet driving role hires new CDL holders in Central Arkansas and experienced drivers. New drivers complete 4 to 6 weeks of paid, over-the-road training with an experienced driver trainer, earning $650 per week. After signing off, drivers receive their own truck and are guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first three months solo. The fleet runs refrigerated freight on set lanes from Texas to Tennessee, Illinois, and Georgia, averaging 1,800 to 2,000 miles per week. Drivers are home every two weeks, depending on location. Work includes drop-and-hook and some live loads. Average weekly gross pay is $1,300 to $1,500, with a sliding pay scale, $25 stop pay, and a performance bonus plan. Orientation pay is $300, and travel to orientation is covered. Riders and pets are allowed after training is complete.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Must be 21 or older.
New drivers must have 120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school.
Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12 or more months in the past 5 years.
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
Pass hair and urine drug testing and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

Drive refrigerated freight on established lanes between Texas and Tennessee, Illinois, and Georgia.
Complete paid over-the-road training with an experienced driver trainer if newly graduated.
Handle drop-and-hook freight and some live loads.
Travel approximately 1,800 to 2,000 miles per week.
Follow the assigned schedule, with home time every two weeks depending on location.
