About The Position

Responsible for delivering and picking up containers at customer locations, ensuring each delivery or pickup is effective and incident-free while maintaining excellent customer rapport. The role drives and operates a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism and may also perform container and lift repairs, assist with storage center functions, and handle related customer paperwork and payments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of experience employed as a CDL driver.
• Maintain a current, valid CDL A or B issued by the state in which the position is assigned.
• Be at least 21 years old due to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers safely at customer sites.
• Perform and log daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
• Accept add-on deliveries as required to meet business needs.
• Use a company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for customer delivery.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with customers.
• Communicate customer questions or issues to the Driver Lead or Market Manager and prepare driver notes as needed.
• Perform repairs to containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center.
• Provide backup for storage center functions when needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, inside and outside.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
