About The Position

BMEI is recruiting licensed CDL drivers with drill operator and locator experience. The role works with a crew of 2–5 teammates operating a bore rig and/or locating, while transporting equipment and materials to different job sites. Candidates should be career-minded and understand the importance of teamwork.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of directional drilling experience with Ditch Witch and Vermeer equipment.
• Knowledge and experience in excavation and industrial construction.
• Exceptional ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Ability to independently follow and give instructions.
• Dependability and excellent planning and scheduling skills.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-hire and random drug screenings.
• Ability to physically perform essential job functions, including lifting, climbing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Effective communication, customer coordination, accountability, problem solving, teamwork, collaboration, respect for others, and adherence to safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Work with a small crew of 2–5 employees and prioritize work accordingly.
• Fulfill assigned construction job duties, including project layout and timelines, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Interpret and follow plans, material lists, and guidelines.
• Operate a bore rig and/or perform locating work.
• Transport equipment and materials to different job sites.
