About The Position

A $1500 sign-on bonus is available for this position after successful completion of 90-days of employment. Hours: Flexible schedules with varying hours (late nights and early mornings) including weekdays and some weekends. Regular Sundays off with the exception of special events or as otherwise required due to business need. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on education and experience (includes differentials). Description: Seeking individual to drive bloodmobile throughout Kentucky, to transport employees and equipment to blood drive locations, perform basic medical screening, and draw blood from volunteer blood donors. Requires excellent customer service skills, high professional standards, and the ability to learn new skills quickly. Must work well with others and have a desire to work with the public.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 25 years old
  • High school diploma/equivalent
  • Current CDL
  • Safe driving record
  • Basic MS Office skills
  • Ability to effectively navigate web-based applications and systems

Responsibilities

  • Drive bloodmobile throughout Kentucky
  • Transport employees and equipment to blood drive locations
  • Perform basic medical screening
  • Draw blood from volunteer blood donors
  • Loading and unloading equipment
  • Restocking supplies
  • Carrying equipment up and down stairs
  • Setting up and breaking down equipment at various locations
  • Travel by vehicle to/from blood drive sites
  • Occasional work at donor centers
  • Interacting with donors
  • General customer service
  • Reading, understanding, and applying Standard Operating Procedures
  • Entering and accessing information via computer or tablet device
