CDL Driver - Class A - OTR/Long Haul Virginia Rte, 2 days home

The role involves predictable lanes with consistent Oklahoma/Texas to Virginia routing, steady miles of 2,100 – 2,600 per week with stable, year-round freight, and an average of 1 to 3 stops per route. Drivers will operate modern fleets of 2021 and newer automatic tractors, with assigned trucks (no slip-seating), APUs, and refrigerators in 2026 or newer sleeper models. Trucks are governed at a driver-friendly 75 mph and maintained by a dedicated maintenance team. The operations are dedicated to hauling freight for Locke Supply Co. and others, with strategic third-party backhauls. Driver-assist unloading at company locations utilizes pallet jacks and forklifts. Backhauls are primarily drop-and-hook with occasional live loads/unloads.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL (No endorsements required)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must reside in the Oklahoma City, OK or Ennis, TX areas
- Must pass a post-offer WorkSTEPS physical job duty test, DOT physical, MVR check, drug screen, and background check
Responsibilities
- Safe transport of freight, tractors, and trailers in full compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Complete daily electronic logs (ELD) and submit mileage reports
- Act as a professional brand ambassador during ALL interactions
- Report mechanical issues immediately
- Manage routes efficiently, proactively and conserve resources
