About The Position

QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver - Boom Truck to join their team. This role involves performing touch-freight tasks, pre-inspecting and loading trucks, ensuring site safety for loading and unloading, and maintaining communication with dispatch for timely product delivery. The driver will adhere to all DOT and company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a boom truck and/or CCO crane certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
