About The Position

QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver - Boom Truck to join their team. This role involves performing touch-freight tasks, pre-inspecting trucks, loading materials, and ensuring a safe environment for loading and unloading. The driver will maintain communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries and adhere to all safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• NCCCO certification and/or boom truck experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
