CDL Distribution Delivery Driver/Warehouse Team Member - Home & Garden

About The Position

This is a full-time position at Stauffers of Kissel Hill’s Home & Garden Distribution Center. The role combines delivery driving and warehouse work, including maintaining assigned road equipment, following delivery and pickup schedules, moving merchandise, and performing general warehouse and property maintenance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with occasional weekends. The wage is $27.00 an hour. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL driver’s license.
Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and drug test as required by DOT regulations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist the Fleet Manager in keeping assigned road equipment clean and in good running condition.
Assist the Fleet Manager with the preventative maintenance program and maintain driving records in accordance with DOT regulations.
Maintain the daily delivery and pickup schedule set by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
Operate manual and electrical equipment to transport items to the pickup area for delivery.
Perform general warehouse and property maintenance duties as needed.
Read shipping orders to determine items to be gathered and distributed.
Receive, open, and break down newly received merchandise, sorting it by type, style, color, and product code.
Relocate material and items from the receiving area to storage or other designated areas.
