About The Position
Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver for its Bucksport, Maine location. The driver operates Class A or Class B equipment to make customer deliveries and operates forklifts and other material-handling equipment to pick, load, unload, and store materials in the yard. The position includes customer service and requires heavy lifting.
Requirements
- The preferred candidate will have a clean and valid Class A or Class B driver's license.
- The final applicant must comply with USDOT testing requirements.
- The position requires heavy lifting.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience handling building materials is a plus.
- Spider truck or boom truck experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to pick, load, unload, and store materials in the yard.
- Make customer deliveries using Class A or Class B equipment.
- Provide customer service.
