CDL Class B Delivery Driver, Local Routes
About The Position
Tropic Supply is seeking a dedicated CDL Class B Delivery Driver for local routes in Sunrise, FL. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the opportunity to be home every night. The primary responsibility is driving established local routes to deliver HVAC and refrigeration supplies to contractors and technicians. While the focus is on driving, there will be times when assistance is needed in the warehouse, pulling and filling orders, receiving and stocking inventory, and operating warehouse equipment. This role requires professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic both on the road and in the warehouse.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B license.
- Hazmat endorsement, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Must be 25 years or older.
- Valid DOT medical certificate and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, with consent to a full pre-employment query.
- One year of verifiable CDL driving experience within the last three years, or two years within the last five.
- A motor vehicle record that meets Tropic Supply driving standards.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for safety, documentation, and customer interaction.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb in and out of cabs and cargo areas repeatedly, and work in Florida heat.
- Treats DOT compliance as non-negotiable.
- Represents the company well at every stop and owns the route without needing to be managed.
- Brings the same work ethic to the warehouse floor as to the road.
- Dependable and ready to build something long-term.

- Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate Tropic Supply vehicles on established local routes, delivering HVAC and refrigeration supplies efficiently and professionally.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and receipt handling.
- Load and unload cargo safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect all items for damage before and after transport.
- Take ownership of your route, your vehicle, and the impression you leave at every stop.
- Transport hazardous materials and follow all applicable DOT and company safety regulations.
- Pull and fill orders in the warehouse.
- Receive and stock inventory in the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment.
- Support the team on the floor when not on the road.
