About The Position
CXI Trucking is hiring an experienced LTL driver for a local pickup and delivery route in Melrose Park, Illinois. The position starts at 7:00 a.m. and offers home-daily work and every weekend off. Requirements
- Be at least 23 years of age.
- Have 2 to 3 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
- Have no more than one at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year.
- Have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Have a valid CDL with a brakes endorsement.
- Have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Operate the vehicle safely at all times.
- Comply with DOT driver-log requirements and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Verify that loads, equipment, and hazardous materials are secured before transportation.
- Read maps or use a GPS unit effectively.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
- Safely lift up to 75 pounds.
