CDL Class A Driver - IW
About The Position
This role is responsible for transporting, setting up, and supporting water purification equipment while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery at customer sites. The CDL Class A Driver will operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport water treatment equipment to customer sites across assigned regions. They will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, deliver, position, and assist with startup of industrial water purification equipment, and assemble and connect hoses and system components. The driver will also monitor equipment performance, record data, maintain communication with dispatch, ensure equipment is secured, and follow all safety regulations. Additionally, they will provide basic troubleshooting support, maintain clean vehicles and work areas, and represent the company professionally on-site.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record and compliance with all DOT requirements
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings including drug and background checks
- Willingness to work variable schedules
- Ability to work manual labor
- Capability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended shifts
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated spaces as required
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, humidity, and rain
- Ability to work around industrial environments including noise, moving equipment, and chemicals with required PPE
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends based on operational needs
- Safety-focused mindset – consistently follows DOT regulations and company safety standards in all driving and job site activities
- Customer-oriented approach – communicates professionally and ensures a positive service experience at every location
- Mechanical aptitude – comfortable assembling hoses, connecting systems, and supporting equipment setup and operation
- Reliability and accountability – maintains schedules, communicates with dispatch, and takes ownership of assigned routes and tasks
Responsibilities

- Deliver, position, and assist with startup of industrial water purification equipment
- Assemble and connect hoses and system components to integrate with customer operations
- Monitor equipment performance and record operational and water quality data accurately
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch to coordinate routes, schedules, and job updates
- Ensure trailers and equipment are properly secured, configured, and ready for transport
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety requirements
- Provide basic troubleshooting support and report any equipment or operational issues promptly
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles and work areas to support safe and efficient operations
- Represent MPW professionally while working directly with customers on-site
