About The Position

Carter Lumber is seeking CDL Class A/B Drivers to join their team. This role offers a stable, predictable schedule with the opportunity to be home every night, allowing for a consistent life at home while building a successful trucking career. As a CDL Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting orders to local customer jobsites using the company's well-maintained fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met and provide excellent customer service. On-site duties include unloading materials using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift, placing materials precisely where customers need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Ability to be a team player
• Experience operating a piggyback forklift

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensuring daily delivery schedules are met.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Unloading materials using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift.
• Placing customer materials at the designated locations on site.
