About The Position

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for the Winston-Salem, NC Location. This role is responsible for safely delivering products to job sites, physically unloading materials as requested by the customer, receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. The company is a family-owned and operated business with nearly 50 years of experience, serving 16 states with 67 locations. They stock a comprehensive line of building materials including roofing, siding, windows, decking, soffit, doors, molding, rainware, and cabinets.

Requirements

CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
Current DOT medical card
Clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age
Heavy Lifting experience
Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.

Nice To Haves

Flatbed & Moffett experience desired
Flatbed, Moffett, and Laddervator operating experience desired

Responsibilities

Safely deliver products to the job site
Physically unload material per the customer's request
Receive materials in the warehouse
Load trucks
Process inventory
Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
Unload trucks and receive merchandise at warehouse.
Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
