About The Position

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for their Winston-Salem, NC location. This role involves safely delivering products to job sites, physically unloading materials, receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. The company is a family-owned and operated wholesale building material distributor serving 16 states with 67 locations, and has been in business for nearly 50 years.

Requirements

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Heavy Lifting experience
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.

Nice To Haves

• Flatbed & Moffett experience desired
• Flatbed, Moffett, and Laddervator operating experience desired

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to the job site
• Physically unload material per the customer's request
• Receive materials in the warehouse
• Load trucks
• Process inventory
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
