About The Position
Kohl's is hiring a CDL-A Yard Hostler for a dedicated yard and local driving operation in Blue Springs, Missouri. The position combines yard hostler duties with local driving. Drivers spot trailers and move equipment around the facility using a provided automatic spotter unit. No unloading is required, and drivers return home nightly. The hourly pay is $28, with average weekly earnings of approximately $1,000–$1,200 depending on hours worked. At 40 hours per week, gross pay is approximately $1,120. Hours depend on customer needs and may change during peak and non-peak seasons; hours over 40 per week are paid at straight time, not time-and-a-half. Cold-weather work is required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Experienced, first-seat driver.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP status are not eligible.
