About The Position

A Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, full-time CDL-A Yard Jockey in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. The role involves moving trucks and trailers around the terminal, positioning trucks for loading or unloading, and possibly making local deliveries as needed. The schedule starts between 5 and 7 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Pay is $32.70 per hour, with overtime after 45 hours, and employees are paid weekly by direct deposit. The position uses modern day cab tractors.

Requirements

• Hold a Class A CDL.
• Have at least 1 year of recent CDL-A experience; van-type trailer experience is preferred.
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have no more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
• Communicate effectively and be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Jockey or Switcher experience.
• Van-type trailer experience.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers around the terminal to various locations.
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
• Visually inspect trailers and/or trucks before and after moving them.
• Connect tractors to trailers.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed.
• Maintain documentation of each trailer moved during the assigned shift.
• Make local deliveries as needed.
