About The Position

This is a local CDL A truck driving position where drivers can expect to be home daily. The average weekly pay is $1,600, equating to approximately $83,000 annually. Additional pay is provided for stops, unloads, backhauls, pallet restacking, and clean inspections. Training includes a two-day ride-along with pay. The role involves touch freight, requiring drivers to unload using a powered pallet jack, for which training will be provided. The freight consists of refrigerated and dry van loads running between the Blue Ash and Woodlawn facilities, delivering to Kroger stores in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Drivers will typically handle 2-4 loads per day with 6-8 stops, covering 200-300 miles daily. This is a slip seat operation.

Requirements

3 Months CDL A Experience
Able to pass the hair follicle drug test
Clean MVR, No SAP
Physical ability for live unloads
Must have personal transportation to and from DC Daily
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Drive refrigerated and dry van freight between Blue Ash and Woodlawn facilities.
Deliver to Kroger stores in OH, IN, & KY.
Perform driver unloads using a powered pallet jack.
Operate tractors in a slip seat arrangement.
