About The Position

This is a local CDL A truck driving position where drivers can expect to be home daily. The average weekly pay is $1,500, with top earners averaging $1,800+ per week. Drivers will handle 70% drop and hook loads and 30% of loads will require unloading from the trailer into the back room of stores using electric pallet jacks. The routes will involve picking up and delivering from various grocery distribution centers (DCs) in the region, primarily in Ohio, but also including Indiana and Kentucky. Drivers typically handle 3-5 loads per day, with an average of 5-7 stops, covering approximately 200-300 miles daily and averaging 1000-1500 miles per week.

Requirements

3 Months CDL A Experience
Able to pass the hair follicle drug test
Clean MVR
No SAP
Weekend and holiday availability required

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver from various grocery DCs in the region (IN, OH and KY), mainly OH.
Average 3-5 loads per day.
Average 5-7 stops per day.
Drive 200-300 miles a day.
Handle 70% drop and hook loads.
Unload 30% of loads from trailer into the back room of stores using electric pallet jacks.
