Local CDL A Truck Driving Position
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated CDL A Truck Driver for a local position with home daily routes. Drivers can expect to average $1,500 weekly, with top earners making $1,800+. This role involves picking up and delivering from various grocery distribution centers in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, primarily focusing on Ohio. The job includes additional pay for stops, unloads, backhauls, and pallet restacking. Drivers typically handle 3-5 loads per day, averaging 5-7 stops and 200-300 miles daily, totaling 1000-1500 miles per week. The work involves 70% drop and hook and 30% unloading from the trailer into store back rooms using electric pallet jacks.
Requirements
- 3 Months CDL A Experience
- Able to pass the hair follicle drug test
- Clean MVR, No SAP
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver from various grocery DCs in the region (IN, OH and KY), mainly OH.
- Average 3-5 loads per day.
- Average 5-7 stops per day.
- Drive an average of 200-300 miles per day.
- Handle 70% drop and hook and 30% unloaded from trailer into back room of stores using electric pallet jacks.
