About The Position
Ionia Michigan Fleet Expansion - Shuttle/Regional Drivers will operate and dispatch out of our new Ionia South Location and will operate Regionally to locations within a 300 mile radius of Ionia. Drivers using Leased new tractors through Penske. All drivers home daily using Day Cab tractors.
Requirements
- CDL A license
Responsibilities
- Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspections
- Load Verification
- Load Securement, if needed
- Safe operation of the tractor and trailer in daily function and use
- Customer Service
- Communications with Management on a Daily basis
- Transport of Goods from one facility to another in a timely and safe manner
- Keeping Clean and Presentable Equipment
- Presenting Write ups for Tractor and or Trailer Maintenance needs as and when needed
- Must be able to use Electronic Logging device (ELD)
