About The Position

This position is for a CDL A Truck Driver with opportunities for those who have their CDL-A but no prior driving experience. Drivers will start on a dedicated Ohio regional lane that runs out and back to Ohio. A planner will ensure drivers stay moving and remain close to home. The job involves dry van freight, with around 1,800 miles per week. Drivers will have a weekly 34-hour reset at home and will handle drop and hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloads.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years or older
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Live within 120 miles of a hiring city: Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Canton, Pittsburgh

Responsibilities

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads during training.
• Drive a dedicated Ohio regional lane, running out and back to Ohio.
• Perform drop and hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloads.
• Complete a weekly 34-hour reset at home.
• Maintain an average of 1,800 miles per week.
