About The Position

This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals with a CDL-A but no prior driving experience. The role is based in Boise and offers a career path within a western regional fleet. Runs are typically short, with drivers usually home within 2 days. The company provides on-the-road training for new CDL holders. After training, drivers will move into their own trucks and receive guaranteed pay for the first three months. The job involves hauling dry van freight across the 11 western states, with an average of 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks. There is an option to expand runs beyond the western states for those seeking more miles. The pay structure includes average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,300, a standard mileage pay scale that increases with experience, and up to an additional 6 cents per mile performance bonus. Additionally, there is $15 stop pay. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days, a 401k with company match, and paid time off.
