About The Position

DriveTime Transports is hiring CDL-A drivers for an intermodal route based in Columbus. Drivers are guaranteed to be home daily and will not stay away overnight. The schedule is either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. Drivers must live within 50 miles of Columbus and be available for day and night shifts.

Pay is $0.61 per dispatched mile, plus $20 per designated stop, excluding the first and final stops. Loaded miles worked Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. earn an additional $0.05 per mile; weekend loaded miles worked from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. earn an additional $0.10 per mile. Drivers may also earn a $10 daily bonus ($50 per week) by completing the full five-day workweek, scanning all BOL/POD documents weekly, and maintaining a satisfactory safety score.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Availability for day and night shifts.
• No more than 4 jobs in the past year.
• Accident reports are required for any incidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI within the required timeframe.
• Drivers who have participated in SAP are not eligible.
• Must live within 50 miles of Columbus.

Responsibilities

• Scan all BOL/POD documents weekly to qualify for the weekly bonus.
• Maintain a satisfactory safety score to qualify for the weekly bonus.
