About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring Class A Team Drivers at its La Feria, Texas Service Center. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations. Teams are on the road for five days and home for two days every week. The stated annual pay is $120,000–$130,000 per driver. Drivers earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment. The role includes a benefits package and access to the company’s employee resorts.

Requirements

• CDL Class A.
• At least one year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
• Good driving record/MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than three moving violations total within the past three years.
• At least 23 years old, or 21 if FMCSA specifications for transitioning from military to civilian CDL are successfully met.
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Complete a successful road test.
• Be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Be dependable.

Nice To Haves

• Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements.
• Experience hauling Haz-mat.
• Experience pulling doubles.
• LTL freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations.
• Operate equipment safely at all times.
