CDL-A Semi-Local Driver – No-Touch Freight + Reliable Miles
About The Position
This semi-local driving position is based in Smithfield, North Carolina, and involves dedicated freight deliveries within a 300-mile radius of Tar Heel, North Carolina. Freight is no-touch, and drivers average approximately 1,500 miles per week. Drivers may get home 3–4 times per week when customer needs allow, with an overnight stay away from home possible once per week. On-site office staff and maintenance support are available. Average weekly pay is $1,150, with top weekly earnings of approximately $1,550. Average annual pay is $60,320, and top annualized earnings are $80,453. Pay is per load for runs up to 189 miles, then by cents per mile (CPM). A safe and on-time bonus opportunity is available. Shifts are approximately 12 hours, with start times between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Schedule options are Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday. Night driving, weekend work, and holiday work are required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
- Availability for night driving, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
