Local CDL-A Semi Driver - Kansas City
About The Position
Clarks White Glove Delivery is hiring a local CDL Class A driver for a dedicated appliance account in Kansas City. The driver operates a company day cab and 53-foot dry van, picking up full trailers at the Kansas City warehouse and delivering appliances to retail stores around the metro area. The work is steady and dedicated, with the same stores served every day, and drivers return home each night. This is a hands-on, physically demanding job, not a no-touch or drop-and-hook position. Drivers unload full trailers at every store, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, and other large appliances. The work involves standing, pulling heavy pallet jacks, and lifting and maneuvering heavy freight throughout the day in all weather conditions. The position pays $30 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours. The schedule is Monday through Friday, full-time, with workdays of about 10 hours.

- Comfort with hands-on, physically demanding work, including standing, pulling heavy pallet jacks, and lifting and maneuvering freight in all weather conditions.
