About The Position

This dedicated account delivers retail freight to store locations throughout the Northeast. The position offers mostly drop-and-hook, no-touch freight, established delivery lanes, reliable miles, and consistent year-round freight. Drivers have assigned automatic tractors and set work schedules, and are home most days. Some store locations require live unloading. Backhaul opportunities are available, and drivers may be asked to assist with intermodal freight or other dedicated accounts. Deliveries do not include New York City.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Strong safety record and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet strict on-time pickup and delivery schedules.
• Comfort with occasional live-load and unload freight.
• Willingness to assist with intermodal freight and other dedicated accounts when needed.
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation.
