About The Position

This dedicated account delivers retail freight to store locations throughout the Northeast. The position offers reliable miles, assigned equipment, consistent routes, and year-round freight. Freight is mostly no-touch and drop-and-hook at distribution centers, with live unloads at select store locations. Backhaul opportunities are available. Drivers operate assigned automatic tractors, follow set work schedules, and make no deliveries in New York City. Drivers are home most days and may be asked to assist with intermodal freight and other dedicated accounts as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Strong safety record and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet strict on-time pickup and delivery schedules.
• Comfort with occasional live load and unload freight.
• Willingness to assist with intermodal freight and other dedicated accounts when needed.
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation.
