About The Position

Drive dedicated refrigerated retail freight for Target on regional routes based out of West Jefferson, Ohio. The work includes shuttle runs, full loads, and store deliveries using preloaded tri-temp and dual-temp reefer trailers. Most stores unload the freight while drivers observe; some inner-city deliveries may require using a lift gate and pallet jack. Routes include downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs, and equipment includes 28-foot and 53-foot trailers.

Drivers are home 2–3 days per week and receive a 34-hour reset. The operation runs 24/7, including overnight shifts, with current operating hours of approximately 9:00 PM–12:00 PM. Runs operate seven days a week, and days off are not fixed. Trucks may be parked in a safe, secured location.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must not be a SAP driver.
• Ability to meet delivery requirements, including using a lift gate and pallet jack when needed.
