About The Position

Drive regional intermodal routes from terminals in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, covering central and western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and western New York. Drivers haul no-touch container freight on chassis in a drop-and-hook operation. A safe, legal place to park the truck and container at home is required; limited bobtail parking may be available for drivers who live near the port.

Drivers average approximately 2,100 miles per week when managing their hours efficiently. Pay includes mileage pay plus stop pay. Average weekly pay is $1,900, with top weekly pay of $2,300; average annualized pay is $95,898, with top annualized pay of $118,117. A $1,000 holiday start bonus is offered. Home time is weekly for a 34-hour reset, usually on weekends and sometimes during the week. Schedules run Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday to help maximize mileage.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• TWIC card required to hire; applicants may start the card application process after applying.
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days.
• Have a safe and legal parking location at home for the truck and container.
