About The Position
Full-time dedicated regional driving position hauling retail freight from the Dollar Tree distribution center in Cowpens, South Carolina. Delivery areas include South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio. Drivers average approximately 1,100 miles per week, with around three loads per week and approximately three stops per load. Drivers hand-unload trailers using rollers; backhaul loads to the distribution center are typically no-touch live loads. Drivers receive a weekly 34-hour reset, with days off either Friday night through Saturday or Saturday night through Sunday, and should be prepared for an active delivery schedule. The position has 10 openings.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of truck driving experience.
- Ability to hand-unload trailers using rollers.
- Ability to complete multiple stops per load.
- Safe and secure truck parking if taking equipment home.
- SAP drivers are not accepted.
Responsibilities
