About The Position

This regional driver position offers runs that frequently bring you back through the house, primarily within the South-Central region. The planner routes drivers to be home often. New CDL graduates are hired and trained for this role. Drivers can expect to drive between 1,700 to 2,000 miles per week with stop pay included. The lanes are out of Houston, covering Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and nearby states. The work involves drop and hook, live loads, and preloads. Drivers are home every two weeks, with opportunities to pass through home more frequently in between.

Requirements

• Class A CDL required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school.
• Alternatively, 6 months of recent driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record: up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must pass a hair and urine drug test.

Nice To Haves

• New CDL grads are hired and trained.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle for regional runs.
• Complete drop and hook, live load, and preload assignments.
• Adhere to assigned routes within the South-Central region.
• Maintain communication with the planner for routing and updates.
• Ensure safe operation of the vehicle and adherence to all traffic laws.
• Participate in training programs as required.
• Pass DOT physical and drug tests.
