About The Position

Drive dedicated regional freight routes for KROGER across Colorado, southern Wyoming, and eastern Utah. Drivers average approximately 1,700 miles, six loads, and 13 stops per week. Freight is no-touch, with live unloads and drop-and-hook operations. Mountain routes may require a two-day run. The role includes 24/7 support staff and newer 2025-model trucks equipped with automatic transmissions and automatic tire chains. The schedule is six days on followed by two days off, with weekly home time and opportunities to come through the house every other day. Driving includes both day and night shifts and weekends; operations run 24/7. Average weekly pay is $1,650, with top weekly pay of $1,700. Average annualized pay is $84,500, with top annualized pay of $85,800. Compensation is mileage-based and includes a safe and on-time mileage bonus. A $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus is offered.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of CDL-A driving experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Ability to work a six-day schedule, including weekends and day or night shifts.
Ability to operate safely on regional routes, including occasional mountain runs.
