About The Position
The CDL-A Regional Driver works in a dedicated regional operation serving Walmart. Routes originate from distribution centers in Colton, Fontana, and Riverside, California, with deliveries throughout California, Nevada—including Reno and Las Vegas—and Arizona. Drivers haul dry van and refrigerated freight, typically complete two trips per day including backhauls to distribution centers, and average approximately 1,175 miles per week. The position is home weekly with a 34-hour reset. The operation runs 24/7, including weekends and holidays, and drivers generally work up to 70 hours before their reset. Drivers use new, well-maintained sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions. Average weekly pay is listed as $1,580, average annual pay as $82,166, top weekly pay as $2,043, and top annualized pay as $106,253. A $1,000 holiday start bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must not be an SAP driver.
- Availability for weekends and holidays.
- Ability to operate sleeper tractors and handle regional routes.
Responsibilities
