About The Position
Drive dedicated regional dry van freight for DOLLAR TREE from the Joliet, Illinois area. The role averages approximately 970 miles per week, with about three turns per week and approximately 3–5 stops per load. Delivery territory includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and northern Kentucky. Drivers hand-unload dry freight using rollers and operate automatic sleeper trucks pulling 53-foot dry van trailers. Home truck parking is permitted when the location is safe and secure. Average weekly pay is listed as $1,800, with average annual pay of $93,600. Top weekly pay is $2,000, with top annualized pay of $104,000. Pay consists of mileage pay, unload pay, and backhaul pay. Drivers have weekly home time with a 34-hour reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on location.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
- Ability to complete multi-stop regional routes.
- Additional qualifications may apply.
Responsibilities
