CDL-A Regional Driver
About The Position
This role is for a CDL-A Truck Driver responsible for hauling no-touch automotive freight within a regional network. Drivers can expect consistent route coverage and regional freight movement, operating primarily east of I-35. The job emphasizes drop-and-hook loads, allowing drivers to spend more time moving and less time waiting. The fleet consists of well-maintained Peterbilt 579 trucks equipped with inverters and refrigerators. Orientation is completed online, and DOT physicals are scheduled close to home. Transportation to pick up assigned equipment is provided after onboarding.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A required.
- Current DOT medical card required.
- At least 3 months of experience within the last 12 months operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer, OR 1 year of experience within the last 3 years operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer.
Responsibilities
- Haul no-touch automotive freight.
- Operate within established freight lanes primarily east of I-35.
- Complete approximately 90% drop-and-hook loads.
- Drive 2,500-3,000 miles per week.
- Adhere to safety standards to qualify for monthly safety bonuses.
- Utilize provided equipment, including inverters and refrigerators.
- Take assigned equipment home during home time.
- Participate in online orientation.
- Attend DOT physicals scheduled close to home.
- Be available for 24-hour dispatch support.
