About The Position
This dedicated regional driving opportunity serves Walmart in Southern California. Drivers earn an average of $1,745 per week, with top weekly pay of $2,260. Average annualized pay is $90,760, with top annualized earnings of $117,525. Drivers travel approximately 1,175 miles per week and generally operate within a 70-hour workweek, typically completing two trips per day with backhauls returning to distribution centers. Starting locations are distribution centers in Colton, Fontana, and Riverside, California. Routes cover California, Nevada—including Reno and Las Vegas—and Arizona. Freight consists of dedicated retail loads, including dry van and refrigerated freight. Drivers use newer, well-maintained sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions. The operation runs 24/7, including weekends and holidays, and drivers receive weekly home time following a 34-hour reset at home.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to work within a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to manage regional routes and complete the required 34-hour reset.
Responsibilities
- Drive regional routes serving distribution centers in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
- Transport dedicated retail freight, including dry van and refrigerated loads.
- Complete backhaul routes returning to distribution centers.
