About The Position

Houston drivers on this regional account don't have to choose between good pay and actually seeing their family. Whether you're brand new to trucking or already running solo, the seat works the same way for everyone: steady freight, growing pay, and two weeks that end at your own front door. This position offers regional freight across TX, OK, LA, MS, AR, TN, AL, KS, MO, IA, and IL, with an average of 1,700 to 2,000 miles weekly. The freight involves live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks, with day and night dispatch available. Weekend work is expected, and while some customers require holiday work, regular time off requests are honored. This is not a dedicated account, offering varied customers.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean MVR and background check.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• New CDL-A holders welcome.
• OR 6+ months of verifiable solo experience.
• Team drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Transport regional freight across multiple states.
• Manage live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook operations.
• Adhere to customer requirements, including potential holiday work.
• Submit to drug testing, including hair and urine tests.
• Maintain a clean MVR and background check.
• Request and utilize time off as needed.
