About The Position

This regional intermodal driving position is for drivers in the Louisville area. Drivers can choose their days off, with options for Tuesday and Wednesday off every week. The role involves driving intermodal containers across Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa. The trucks are newer automatic mid-roof tractors, averaging 2.5 years old. Approximately 75% of the work is drop and hook, and mostly no-touch freight.

Requirements

• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL.
• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 3 months in the last 6 with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• No careless or reckless driving.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI in 5 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• No failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive intermodal containers across Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
• Perform approximately 75% drop and hook, mostly no-touch freight.
• Drive newer automatic mid-roof tractors.
