About The Position

Southwest Suburbs drivers: dedicated reefer freight, home every week, pay that climbs every year. A dedicated reefer account out of Chicago with mostly drop and hook loads and home time once a week. New CDL grads are trained on it. Dedicated reefer lanes across Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Drop and hook, live loads, live unloads and preloads. Day and night dispatch. Home once a week for your 34-hour reset.

Requirements

• Class A CDL from your state of residence
• Must be 21 or older
• New CDL grad with 120+ school hours, or 6 months of recent experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• Must pass DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen

• Your CDL school training counted if it was 120 hours or more.

Responsibilities

• Drive dedicated reefer lanes across Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.
• Perform drop and hook, live loads, and live unloads.
• Adhere to day and night dispatch schedules.
• Complete 34-hour reset at home weekly.
• Practice backing with a mentor for several weeks.
• Complete 4 to 6 weeks of mentorship on backing, logs, fueling, and trip planning.
