About The Position

Central New York Class A drivers are offered some of the best mileage pay on the board, with the opportunity to be home weekly. This position is suitable for new graduates with paid start training. The freight requires hand-unloading, and the mileage rate is high to compensate for this. For those who do not mind touching freight, this Over-The-Road (OTR) seat offers competitive pay and weekly home time. Drivers can expect to earn approximately $1,700 per week, equating to roughly $88,400 annually. The starting mileage rate is $0.80 per mile, with annual increases of $0.01 up to $0.85 per mile. Drivers will average about 1,900 miles per week and receive $15 per stop. Pay is disbursed weekly via direct deposit. The OTR lanes cover the Northeast, and the freight is full hand-unload with load and unload assist. Staying out through one weekend allows for full miles to be built into the schedule. A dedicated planner will manage production around the driver's capabilities. For new drivers, 120 CDL-school hours qualify them for paid one-on-one mentor training before going solo, after which they receive the full solo rate. The trucks are assigned, take-home, automatic or 10-speed, approximately 1.5 years old, with 24/7 dispatch support.

Requirements

• Class A CDL in your home state.
• Must be 21 or older.
• New grad (120+ hours) or verifiable experience.
• Acceptable driving record.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and hair and urine screen.
• Able to hand-unload freight.

Responsibilities

• Operate OTR lanes across the Northeast.
