About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is hiring a full-time CDL-A Night Shuttle Driver in Johnston, Rhode Island. The driver operates a day cab tractor pulling a 53-foot trailer between Pyle terminals, completing overnight trips between locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with the driver home daily. Pay is $36.65 per hour, paid weekly by direct deposit, with overtime after 40 hours. A. Requirements

Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Have a Hazmat endorsement when starting.
Have a Tanker endorsement when starting or be willing to obtain one within 90 days.
Have at least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Currently hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
Be at least 21 years old.
Have no more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
Be able to communicate effectively and read, write, and speak English.
Be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

Drive a day cab tractor pulling a 53-foot trailer to other Pyle terminals.
Complete overnight trips between various Pyle locations.
Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight while adhering to FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
